What Merak is

Merak helps you plan a trip to Bhutan. You can plan and send your plan to us without an account. Sending a plan asks a Merak travel planner to review it and reply; it does not book or charge anything.

Your account

An account is optional. It keeps your trips so you can come back to them on any device. You sign in with Google; we never see your Google password. Keep access to your Google account secure: anyone who can sign in to it can open your trips.

You can download your data or delete your account at any time from the account menu.

Your plans

Plans are suggestions, not offers. Prices, opening times, permits and road conditions change; a planner confirms details before anything is booked. Any booking is made under a separate agreement.

A plan's share link shows the latest saved version to anyone who has it. Only share it with people you trust.

Fair use

Don't misuse the service: no automated scraping, no attempts to access other people's trips, no content that is unlawful. We may limit or close access that breaks these terms.

Liability

We provide the planner with care but without guarantee that it is always available or error-free. Liability for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health, is unlimited; otherwise it is limited as far as the law allows.

Changes

If these terms change we update the version above and ask you to agree again before your next sign-in.
